Nude beaches in the Canary Islands

NOTE: In Spain, nudism is a legal practice at any public place. It is regarded as one of your fundamental human rights to go naked. (Rivers, Lakes, Beaches, Streets, Squares, Mountains) Hence, this list of places should be understood as those which are mostly frequented by naturists.

It does not mean that either you cannot be in the nude anywhere else or that you will find more nudists there.

The police cannot arrest you for nudity in Spain, but lewd behaviour is not acceptable. Please note that sex in public or an erection in public is lewd behaviour.

You are not allowed to go naked in private areas unless the owner of that area gives you permission - That is shops, bars, cafes, hotels, car parks, theme parks and water parks.

Gran Canaria

Dunes of Maspalomas: lots of people just trying to see what is going on, but also always some couples. Good location for dogging. Big nudist beach close by. Also part used by gay men.

Lanzarote

Charco del palo: nudist village, small secluded beaches. Not a lot of swinging going on.

Fuerteventura:

Corralejo beaches and dunes: some beaches used by nudist and swingers.
